Workplace expert, Acas, has joined up with the Civil Mediation Council (CMC) to host a lunchtime livestream from the UK Mediation Conference on 25th November 2024.
This year’s conference is the first joint collaboration between Acas and several partners involved in HR and mediation.
Workplace disputes cost British businesses nearly £30bn a year and impacts over one-third of the workforce. New research from Acas has revealed that there’s been a general decrease in knowledge and experience among employers, employees and their representatives about how to manage conflict at work and move towards agreement.
Mediation can help to resolve disputes early and our livestream will explore the vital role it can play at work. Acas Individual Conciliators, Shaun Slack and Rob Davies, and CEO/Mediator Caroline Sheridan from Sheridan Worldwide, will share their insights and experience on how to resolve conflict, improve communication and encourage a positive work environment.
